Welcome to Twisted Tresses LLC located on the west side of Chicago. Here we are licensed by the State of Illinois and specialize in natural hair care and styling, promoting your hair’s health and growth. Our goal is to educate you on maintaining your style upon leaving the salon and caring for your own hair until your next appointment while giving you the experience you desire and love. Late Policy: Things Happen! 10-15 minutes late, no problem! Please call or text letting me know your ETA as soon as you know you’re running late. If I don’t hear from you, you will be considered a no-show. Please see cancellation and no-show policy. If you communicate you may be 15-45 minutes late prior to appointment we MIGHT still be able to keep your appointment with having to slightly alter your style to adhere to the new time allotment. Otherwise you will need to reschedule. Age requirements: Clients Must be 10 years or older. If your child is tender headed, cries and/or is unable to sit atleast 2 hours straight outside of restroom break, PLEASE do not book. If the appointment is uncomfortable for me or your child due to any reason listed above, I will discontinue the service and you will remain responsible for half the price of the style. Add- Ons: Please Explore ADD-ONS at the time of booking. ADD -ONs are an addition COST & TIME. Failure to select needed add-ons to complete any service may result in cancelling your appointment due to time restrictions. Deposit will remain unrefundable. So, please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions and concerns if you are unsure that you need an add-on. Arriving to your appointment: 1.)Please arrive in enough time to find street parking. DO NOT PARK IN THE LOT. Be mindful of parking signs. We will not be responsible for towing or tickets. 2.) Please take down and detangle your hair prior to your visit. If you would like me to assist you with take down and/or detangling please select the service from the add on section. Failure to do 1 of 2 of these things may result in your appointment being cancelled and losing you deposit. If we’re able to keep the appointment, take down /detangling is $25 an hour. No exceptions! 3.) If you have any open sores or scabs, inflammation or bleeding on your scalp, Your appointment will be cancelled! No exceptions! 4.) You may thoroughly wash and blow dry your own hair for braid extensions services only. Doing so will only save time not money! Your hair and scalp must be clean. Otherwise I will have to shampoo it again to complete the service. 5.)If you desire any boho/goddess styles please select “ADD BOHO” from the add on section. The price stated is only for me to install the additional hair that will be purchased by you. 100% human hair is recommended. Failure to select the add-on may result in the inability for your style to be Boho. You may still receive the complete style that was actually booked. 6.)You may bring a snack and/or lunch with you or have it delivered. If need be, we will take at 20-25 minute break for appointments that are 6 hours or longer. Feel free to bring travel pillow for your comfort. 7.) You are the only one allowed at you appointment. Children that aren’t being serviced are not allowed. No other guest will be allowed to come sit with you in the shop. 8.)Services will not be rushed. Due to the versatility in head shapes, sizes and hair density, times vary. So please do not schedule on the day that you have something else to do. 9.)Cancelling at anytime during your appointment shall still be paid in full. 10.) You are responsible for the human hair that you purchase. If you do not like your style due to the quality or curl pattern that you purchased, you will still be responsible for the full price of service. Recommended hair will be sent to you via text message. 11.) We can talk if you like and we won’t if you don’t. However you will have an option of music or TV. Cancellation Policy
No- shows and Cancellations in less than 24 hours of appointment will result in forfeiture of deposit and you will be responsible for paying 50% of your service. You can be banned from booking for No-Show.
